Thursday, I am grateful...

...for old buildings that remain, unique and often restored. Back in the day, buildings had class and were distinguished. The new structures you see in a city are boxy, new, and shiny. In other words, boring and mundane. I like seeing buildings like this former Parisian Laundry. It gives my neighborhood a sense of history. It gives me something wonderful to look at and be curious about.

Excellent picture and comment. When I first saw it I immediatel y looked to see if there was a cat image hidden somewhere. Although there is something up in the corner but I can't figure out what it is...maybe it's a bird.

Maybe I'm blind...but I don't see anything. There are a lot of pigeons in this city so maybe they left a big ol' mess there!
